Stern, who revealed his interest in helming the show after Piers Morgan announced that he would be leaving to focus on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight, told his Thursday morning SiriusXM Satellite listeners that he had been offered the job and was signing the contract right then and there on his radio show.

Biggest Loser Star Still In Critical Condition After Fall

Sam Poueu, a contestant on season nine of NBC's The Biggest Loser, is still recovering in a San Francisco hospital after falling several stories off a building last Saturday. The reason for the fall is still unknown, but Poueu, 25, is reportedly suffering from a punctured lung and a broken leg, among other injuries, while being treated in an intensive care unit.
