Bethenny Frankel Leaving 'Real Housewives'

Reality star Bethenny Frankel will not be returning to Real Housewives of New York when it begins shooting next month. "Last season was scary and painful," she told Us, “My gut’s saying not to be part of this cast."

Last season, Bethenny continued to spar with enemy Kelly Bensimon and also feuded with former best friend Jill Zarin. Bethenny’s spinoff show, Bethenny Getting Married? which chronicles her nuptials and pregnancy was Bravo’s highest-rated cable debut ever, strengthening early rumors that Bethenny was to leave RHONY.

However, this won’t be the last we see of this housewife: despite her decision, Bethenny is still contractually obligated to make appearances on this season of the show. –AMY LEE
