Apple's Steve Jobs Dies At Age 56

Steve Jobs, the co-founder and visionary behind Apple, died on Wedenesday at the age of 56 after his struggle with pancreatic cancer. Apple stores around the world are littered with flowers today in honor of the celebrated CEO.
"It's really sad he's gone," said Chris Cunningham, a private school administrator and admirer of Jobs, who honored the entrepreneur with a white rose and red apple at the store in Pasadena, reports the LA Times. "The future of his legacy is in other hands."
News of the Jobs' death has shaken not only Silicon Valley, but Apple stores around the world. Victoria Southwell, 67, described the inventor as "an old hippie and a beautiful guy" at the Apple store location in New York's SoHo area. In honor of Jobs, however, Apple employees know the show must go on. After Henry Dai, 41, the hardware engineer at the Apple headquarters, found out about Jobs' death, he immeditely continued a meeting. "We had to work," he said. "It was the right thing to do. It's what he would have wanted."
